Took my 2012 raptor with 42,000 miles in for an oil change at the beginning of July. When I went to pick it up the service guy told me about two leaks that I had, a transmission leak and something around my rear differential (I forget exactly what he called it). Luckily they told me that my extended warranty that I payed for covered me until July 25th, so I was scheduled an appointment on the 9th.
When I dropped the truck off I made sure to mention any other problems I could think of with to make sure it was looked at before the warranty expired. I told the lady that the rubber door detents (not sure if that's what they are called) in the door jam were cracked and that I have abnormal wear on the steering wheel where the red strip is. I took her to the truck and she took pictures to submit to the warranty people. Well on Friday I got a voicemail from this lady saying the steering wheel and detents were approved by the warranty department and were put on order for me.
Today I got another call from the same lady saying that they were not approved, the steering wheel would cost $800.00 without adding in cost of labor, and she had no idea about the cost factory door detents and that it would have to be sent to some body shop if I wanted to pay for it. She seemed to not recall that she had left me a voicemail a few days ago saying the complete opposite.
So my question is, what do I do? After two weeks with my truck all they managed to accomplish was fixing two leaks (maybe). Does the fact I have a voicemail saying it was approved and put on order help my case?![68687fa062fb608197b8f6187a4c2e7c.jpg 68687fa062fb608197b8f6187a4c2e7c.jpg](https://www.fordraptorforum.com/data/attachments/235/235131-9eea6f6e190916299cf67b230d8b63a0.jpg)
