I have been on the hunt for a Raptor Gen 1 with low miles at a decent price. ( I know good luck with that! LOL) I wanted to know if there was anything, in particular, I need to look at when shopping for a raptor beside the typical beat up the undercarriage. Something I see quite often here in Arizona. I am also been looking at the Shelby's but are they worth the money? I cannot find any sites with one for sale expect one a 2014 with 79k @ 44k but cannot judge the value because there is nowhere to compare.

I have been a long time F150 owner 200k Plus and the only problem I had was a transmission. Anything on the long term I should be concern about?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Many Thanks Da Roadkiller!

PS this the right place for this discussion .. LOL

I don’t have a lot of answers to your questions. BUT, I think that your question would get a lot more traffic and attention in the “prospective owners” section. It’s towards the top on the main forum screen. And I swear that I just saw a low mile gen 1 for not that much. For 44k with 70 plus thousand miles, I’d just spend a few more grand and get a gem 2. If you’re worried about the lack of an 8 cylinder, drive one. I was worried until I drove one. I love my gen 2. I’ll see if I can find that gen one and post it in here for you.
