Some of us were born and have family here. It’s expensive for sure, but the weather and quality of life is good. Once the kids are grown and out of the house though, we're gone.

Enough about politics/etc. other dealers have confirmed they ship to CA. But for Rs they still don’t want to deal. I refuse to pay $1 over msrp regardless how great this truck is. I did that for my bronco raptor and I’ll never do it again.

The quality of life … is well… if you can look past the crime, the illegals, the homeless, the sanctuary cities, the defund the cops groups, the leftist crazy, the taxes, the crazy universities and the reparations demands, ….. then Well ya it was a nice place. Not anymore.

It may be hard to comprehend, but the whole state is not as you describe. I live in a very pro police city with great schools. There is no real desire to live anywhere else at the moment.

It’s not hard at all. I lived there for over 60 years.

The weather is great and the scenery is beautify. Dem politics have 100% ruined the state.

Follow up…

There are pockets of nice areas left. Lake Arrowhead is one. But it’s not common anymore.

Of course even in a nice area, you still have to deal with the taxes, crime, gun control, homelessness etc.

Last I looked, 53 elect votes went to Scumalla. So on that online it’s a Dem state.

Dont get me started on that idiot gov and all his stupid laws.

Geographically, most of the state of California is quite conservative. Our county generally votes almost 80% red. Our sheriff encourages concealed carry. We have farms around us, and lakes and rivers. Great fishing, and a beautiful state, months every year of perfect weather. Politics and behavior in most big cities is appalling and we despise it also. Statewide I think I read that we have seen a shift in this last election by about 7% away from blue. We are far from a swing state, but we can hope.

I bought my Raptor in Ohio and had it shipped for $1500.
