Shifter doesn't fold down and just makes clicking noise

Just got a 2023 Raptor R and LOVE it. Only issue is the shifter doesn't go down when you press the button and I just hear a clicking noise as if something is trying but unable. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have never tried to fold mine down. Too scared.

Take it to the dealer, should be under warranty.

A folding or retractable shifter? No wonder R models are so damn expensive!
No doubt they have self-cleaning mirrors and perpetual new car smell, too.

I have the same issue on my ‘23 35 package model. It has worked intermittently, but more often than not it won’t.

When your dealer fixes/ replaces it, mind posting what part number or assembly they changed out? I'm thinking others of us may need this when our warranties are up.

I don't use it often but so far no issue yet.

I folded mine down when I picked it up new from dealer. I then installed buttons on dash to shift so it’s remained down ever since.
