Maybe he shipped his Raptor to Hennessey and doesn't want us to know.
Ya got me. I was gonna suprise everyone with the new SuicidedOutSvt :head3: :lol2:

I'm playing the waiting game right now. It's been taken for insurance evaluation and with all the recent holidays, it's been sloooooooow. I'm hoping to hear something this week on the fate of her

Soooo. I am now in search of a motor. Got the bad news from the ins. Co. They will pay for the melted wiring and thats it. I'm left to my own to get the motor and have it installed.

The search begins.

Opinions....should I have the trans rebuilt while everything is out? 105K. Kinda torn here. Seems like a good time to do it since the engine will be out and it will be a new engine on a trans of 105K. Not sure how many miles these transmissions are good for

Lots of different places
I'm leaning towards rebuild it now. I'm sure they can go 200k+ and the owner's manual paradoxically says both "lifetime fill" on changing the fluid, and "150k miles" so...at 105k with forced induction it's probably time. When the time comes for mine I'll be looking to Circle D and Ford reman. Oh and check the mounts too.

Have you ever changed the fluid or the filter in it yet? I'm no expert but I wouldn't rebuild it, seems like low miles for that, but I would remove the pan and replace the filter and top up the fluid.

At our mileage, I would definitely just install a reman transmission and a cooler, but I'm on the fence at his mileage, it's like flipping a coin, should you or not, lol.
