This morning on the way to the gym / work, the service engine light illuminated and an error message appeared on the display. After several re-starts to try and clear the light, it remains and the truck appears to be in some kind of a "limp mode" or at the very least, less than full power. The truck is driving sluggishly and I have an appointment to drop it off at the local dealership tomorrow. I've searched but found nothing about this yet on a couple forums. Hope it's not serious. FWIW, I checked the fuel filler cap to make sure that wasn't stuck as this happened on my Tundra in the past.

Mine is on also. Got the dam "fuel filler cap" error on my ford pass app. Messed with the opening, put new gas in, there is nothing blocking it. Checked the manual, it says may take some time for the warning to go away. How long was it until yours went off?

Our theory is either bad gas or condensation. There have been some big temperature swings recently and it's a high humidity area.

You guys will start seeing more of this condensate issue. The only way to prevent this is the 1/16" weep hole in the lower driver side of the intercooler. I am not sure why anyone would not do this. This has been the only fix and has years of test with no problems and no loss of performance.

Ah it took about 24 hours to go away

Mine came on two weeks ago because the waste gate solenoid actuator stuck. They replaced it on Friday and it had to go back Monday because they didn't adjust the actuator properly. No issues since. The Ford Pass App is somewhat misleading as to what the actual issue is. I used Forscan to read the actual DTC.
