I put mine in the lake last winter.
On my way home from buying my winter beater for the year (Lincoln MKX awd).
It was glare ice and some slippery slushy snow.
The road onto our lake has a little twist and downhill where I went into the cat tails.
Should is SOFT muck.
A few steps and up to your ankles.
The truck started to sink quick, right away.
Wife and son tried to pull me out with out Expedition.
Too slippery and the Raptor was too good of an anchor.
Son had a friend up the street bring his tractor down.
Forks on his bucket under the rear tow hooks and lifted the rear.
I had a couple expended metal trailer ramps that got placed under the rears.
Finally able to use truck and tractor together to get back on the road.
What a mess!
Took a lot of time at the local power wash car wash.
Those cat tails got into a lot of tight spots when the MTs throw them around.
Glad you came out of it well !!
