We could have gone with any bump stop in our kit but we chose what we believe to be the best choice for the Raptor.
Some points when comparing the King or Fox bump to our set up using the Light Racing bumps -
It is a more compact bump design
It gets exponentially stiffer as it compresses to a final length and then damping itself critically (means it doesn't follow the terrain back down, it extends slower than the suspension drops away…) so it can't contribute to the rebounding effect of the vehicle’s springs
With a correctly set up by-pass shock for the Raptor, you do not need to have a 3" or 4" travel bump stop. The by-pass has bump zones and running a longer travel bump stop interferes with the shock trying to do it's job.
With the compact design the Light Racing bump does not come into play unless you are hitting hard, right where and when you want the bump stop to come into play.
If you take a look at other kits on the market you will see that because of the length of the air bump and or the location of the lower bump pad you would hit the bump cruising through a parking lot over speed bumps.
