I often take a group of friends for lunch near work, there's a shitload of room in the screw ... I wouldn't think twice about it, it's like a limo back there.

For those of you who are unfamiliar the term "crummy" means a crew cab pickup. Where i was from it was used to refer to the big ass crew cab fords and chevys from the 1980s that the loggers would pile into to go to work up in the hills.

As for where it actually came from, no idea on the history of the term, but I'm betting most of you don't give a damn anyway.

My father had an '88 F-350 Crum with a 464 engine, two factory gas tanks etc. It was Red wit Black Trim. Front Lockers. Wicked, Tested, Lived & Died in the Mountains of CO. PS-Back seat was massive + had a motorized full size up/down window going into the back. Crew section was huge.

However, I have no children, yet, nor a wife, yet, so I'm going with the Scab for now. I figure I got about 3-5 years before I need to consider a second vehicle for family aka plenty of time to enjoy the Scab.

PS2-I test drove a 2010 Scab a wile back, I am 6'2 and was driving, my brother in pass seat + salesmen in back with plenty of room! 3 adults riding in Scab is no prob. 4 adults for more than 2 hours might get a little tight...IF those in back seat are over 6ft and front seats all the way back. Sde note, n car gets "tight" after 2+ hours.

Would also go out on a limb and say having the bed space for luggage/other....means a family of 4 (kids 12 & under) should fit fine in a Scab. though I would prob add backseat headrest TV's for the kids to help + a power plug Inverter + RCA hook up's + wireless headsets. Make it fun to be in th backseat an no one aka kids (or even adults haha) will care about space or lack thereof. :peace:
