Another thread about this?

I went from a Supercab Raptor to a Supercrew Raptor. Why? Bigger is better. I wanted the new fancy shit that the 2011 had over the 2010. I wanted to get rid of the clunk and the added T/H-Ass mode in the 2011. (My 2010 didn't have it installed).

Also, sometime in the future, I'd like to have kids and a family and the Supercrew would be much better for that, although I am not liking the idea of the eventual kids destroying the inside of the truck, so I'll probably get a Flex or something to cart their asses around in.

Actually, maybe I'll give the wife the Supercrew and I'll get a Supercab and mod the **** out of it just for me.

Your 2010 didn't have T/H??? Mine does.

Whtrapta threw up some nice comparison photos of a SCab, albeit a bit dark (beggars can't be choosers, im not complaining). Now we need a SCrew!

The best comparison I can come up with for the new truck cab configurations.....

Extended Cab Rear Seats: it's like coach seating on an airplane, roomy enough, but you're not looking forward to having to sit back there, especially if there's a fat dude next to you lol

Super Crew Rear Seats: It's like 1st class seating on an international flight, so roomy you're excited to sit back, relax, and stretch out lol.

I vote this as the best said comparison.

4) The larger gas tank.

ah I forgot to mention that one, that was another HUGE perk for me! I absolutely HATE going to the gas station, I'd take twin 100 gallon tanks if they offered it to me. More to fill it up, but less time having to find a gas station, and wait on the stupid attendants (F'ing NJ laws!). Time is money, so less frequent fillups = bonus for me! Not to mention things like towing, I try to avoid having to gas up while I've got the trailer hooked up since it's more of a pain maneuvering in tight gas stations, so the longer the range, the less that has to be a concern.

Dude, you're ....22? Do you want the chicks to see the sports "I'm single" truck or the "4 door grocery getter".

depends what kind he's going after. He may want that big back seat area for extracurricular activities :peace: Or if he likes the big ones, he may need that big back seat area to fit extracurricular activities :ROFLJest:

Now you're talking! Edited. Definitely want to give the wife the SCrew...:waytogo:

Eh I'd think twice about it. As cool as it sounds to own two identical vehicles, the novelty wears off FAST. Been there, done that. Was awesome for the photo ops, but you'll want to mod both the same, spend double the money, and start jonesing for a vehicle for another purpose if you own two already. Why own two for the exact same thing/exact same perks, when you can own two for two different purposes/two types of perks.

I vote this as the best said comparison.

Yep seeing those pics the other guy posted pretty much confirms it. Really is like coach seating on the aircraft with the extended cab. You may get lucky and be sitting in an exit row and get the 2" of clearance from your knees to the seat in front of you if the driver is short, or you may be stuck in the row in front of the bathroom with your knees jambed into the seat in front of you and no way to recline your seat back either lol.

for more fun activities, pick up a "SHUR-TRAX" bed bladder. Holds 450 lbs worth of water, turns to ice in the winter for excellent traction, then in the summer makes a killer water bed for the bed of your truck. Her eyes will light up if you pull into a drive-in movie and go to hop in the bed between teh bedrug and the water bladder.....a carpeted bed with a waterbed inside?!?! :hitit: LOL!
