SCAB Sunroof thunk

I have the pano sunroof but they use the same plastic tab that move the sunroof. The problem is that if you don't use the sunroof much, the seal will get "glued" to the roof from heat and weather elements. So you need to keep lubing the seal so it won't get stuck to the roof. I lube mine every time I wash my truck. To repair the sunroof from the dealer is in the 4 figures. My dealer told me if wasn't for the warranty it would have cost me around $1200-1400. But then again I am in Cali.

If it's got **** or tires, it's gonna give you trouble. Since a sunroof on a pickup is like **** on a boar ... it's double trouble. Makes perfect sense.

Ordered the Krytox® Weather Strip lube from amazon. Followed the TSB steps, took about 20 minutes and no more thumping and thudding in the back. This noise appeared recently on my 2020. Had no idea where it was coming from until I read this thread.
