FF is great stuff. Hate the smell though.

Paint works well to prevent rust too.

Yup my garage stunk for the first few weeks after doing the fluid film. I still get a wiff from time to time. Worth it if helps prevent rust imo but is messy to put on.

I use the Amsoil HDMP on the undercarriage. Everything metal gets a coat every fall. I am in VA, but travel to NY in the winter, so its worth it.

So its not as bad as I thought but still ridiculous. The nut the bolt goes into has broken off so it just spins. I took it to a body shop and they are going to cut the bolt off from the top and then remove the whole bed to install new nuts and put the bolts back in. Said its very common on all Ford trucks

All car manufacturers allow surface rust. Not only ford trucks. I mean all even Toyota. Google or check YouTube.
