Wished i would of taken them apart but not that it matters living in New England ill be lucky to even keep this truck from rotting out anyway. 2 winters with plenty of woolwax/waxoyl and still the cab corners and deaver, rear bumper the lips of the rockers all have rust. I also work cleaning cars and wash it often. Doesn’t make an fn difference here. Ive lost the last 2 vehicles cause i couldn’t keep up with the rust. Sorry bit of a sad/angry rant there…lol
You are right- there's nothing you can do if you drive it in the crap.

I keep mine dry. I'm not losing another 4WD truck to the salt.

I surely don't need a 4WD truck to make it through the "snow"- which is usually only a 1/2" of snow with 1/2" of salt spread over it.

I am in the process of the rear leafs being fully prepped and Teflon coated... they just got done with the coating ... I'm pretty stoked hopefully I'll have them tomorrow to report back.

Now that looks good
Thanks, yeah the guy is doing a legit job, he beveled all the edges and sandblasted the leafs before coating, he ended up machining me new greasable bushings and coated the shackles and sleeves. The sleeves he also re made with a larger wall thickness because he found the deavers bushing sleeves where to thin and they gouged the shackle and front leaf mount.
