How do you adjust the end caps?

Picked my raptor up yesterday and noticed the passenger side was not aligned well. Looked at 3 other raptors at the dealer and all are the same way.

There is already a protection film from the factory there. When the bumper is adjusted correctly the gasket sits on the film instead of the paint.

I had this fix done by the dealer in December on my 18. They removed the bumper, painted it, and put 2 little strips of clear tape on the bumper where the rubbing occurs. Did a fine job.

(I removed my triple fogs and brackets before bringing to the dealer though).
I recommend doing the same.

I think I will just trim little bit of this rubber insert where it touches end of bumper ends. I had my whole bumper covered with Paint Protection Film and on driver side this rubber insert lifted up newly installed PPF.

Has anyone else had any of this happening on their bumper? Literally the same spot on both sides almost under that rubber part. I was washing truck yesterday and noticed it and just went and looked on other side and saw it there as well. Truck is 1 year old and 22k on it. Was seeing what others had before I tried to go to Ford and see what they would say.

Yup. 2018 Screw and I noticed it on both sides about six months after I took delivery. Irritating but not a big deal. Rubber piece rubbing on the metal bumper.

I have the same exact issue. Only passenger side but in the same exact spot. I'm a little annoyed but luckily I have plans on getting a different bumper with a winch mount

Just went out to my truck and there are 3 - 13mm screws and 2 -8mm screws attaching these end pieces. I loosened the screws slightly and was able to pull them out to the proper position so the rubber is on the film. So if it hasn't worn out the paint yet, you can reposition these pretty easily. If you need more adjustment you can loosen the 3 - 21mm bolts holding each side of the bumper to the frame.

Wow. How awesome can forums be for stuff like this. I have it on my 19 passenger side and just thought somehow it got chipped. Lovely.
