Tried squeezing the rubber with some pliers while its pulled away to tighten the channel? Use to have a metal channel in the rubber to keep it tight on the weld seams

There isn’t metal inside the rubber unfortunately. I think the only solution is couple dots of windshield silicone to hold it securely in place.
Well damn...one of those things that worked at one time really well that doesnt happen anymore

They just don’t make shit like they used too. Everything comes from China and is made by a bunch of limp wristed snow flake you know what’s. We are doomed as the world has turned into a bunch of lazy, weak, submoronic socialistic minions.
