understand (Most do not understand what it takes to perform at this level) ... do you know of any open runs? Or just trails that I could hit up on a weekend if I am in west Texas?

I just purchased the Harbor Freight 2 ton aluminum racing jack and was planning on using the DMZ skid plate with it for TRR. While I was at HF, I picked up a pair of racing aluminum 3 ton jack stands too since they are light. After looking at them with a 16 3/8" max height I am wondering if they are going to work to put under the axle when changing a tire. I see the jack has a 18 1/2" max height. Never been to TRR so wasn't sure of the terrain and what people were using out there when having to change a tire?

What I got, work though?

You could always bring a few 4x4 or 6x6's to put under the Jack

I figure the jack isn't going to be an issue, seems quite a few use that HF 2 ton for off-road. I was more questioning the jack stands?

I have the 2-ton OTC racing jack, and two OTC aluminum jack stands. They work for basic lift heights on solid ground. I had to buy heavy duty taller jack stands to work on my truck last year. I needed my truck at full droop to install my Icon shocks. But they are too heavy to bring around in my truck.

Wood blocks are always a good option to raise the jack stands.

Yeah, I'll bring them and definitely get some 2x4 pieces.
