I wouldn't think you would need a GPS for TRR being that it is a closed and clearly marked course on private land, is it not?

Thinking of going to trr. Went of roading only once and it was mostly low speed. From other raptor runs things that were needed. Was a gps, jack , extra 5 gallons of gas and a way to mount spare in bed that's not mentioned for things needed for trr. Do I still need them? Will be my first time doing anything like this. Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing because its a lap rather than a point to point, you don't need extra gas. I'm not sure though

Kaiser answered all of the questions correctly. Remind me to give you a gold star once we're at TRR.

Magnum PI. To answer your questions. This is what's required. The suggested are just that.

There is nothing that you really need beyond this list to participate in TRR. You can drive at your own pace. The track is long enough that you don't have to worry about it being a conga line the whole time.

Spares do just fine under the truck.

I wouldn't worry about a jack. If you have a flat everyone out at the run is really helpful and there will be plenty of jacks. Impact wrenches. CO2 bottles. Etc. Etc. Etc. And all of that's just on my support truck!

Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.

Every truck will be inspected for the following. You will not be allowed onto the track without it.
Required Gear:

1. DOT Approved Helmet.
2. First aid kit.
3. Fire extinguisher.
4. Tow strap
5. Minimum of 1 qt of the following.
Engine Oil
ATF for powersteering
6. Method to secure everything in your bed

Suggested supplies.
2nd Spare Tire or Tire Plug Kit
VHF Radio that is business band capable.
Lowrance GPS

Yes the course is well marked. A GPS is a convenience but definitely not a requirement.

Fun fact. Over 500 arrows are put out on the 43 miles of the track. White indicates direction. Yellow indicates caution.

As like trey said it's very convenient to have a GPS! I use mine even though I've been on that track A LOT!

I'll answer what I know

Are there bathrooms or only port-a-potties? Yes and yes
Any showers? Yes
Is there an ice machine onsite to purchase ice?
Electrical outlets? Or should I assume that I need to use my truck to recharge batteries (phones, radio, gopro, etc)
Grills to cook food (can bring one)? From what I recall people brought them
Sounds like there is going to be a food truck there the entire time? Yes

Is the crowd fairly trustworthy as if you leave some of your stuff in your tent that you don't have to worry too much about theft? I am sure everyone looks out for everyone else, or at least I hope so as I know I will.

I left my spare tires and other stuff out and nobody messed with it. If they did I highly doubt anybody would find the bodys :greenchainsaw:
The Club Has a new Ice Machine.. There will be ICE for purchase.
Along with the two showers We have a 30ft Pool, No soap please.
