Questions for those of you that attended previous TRR at the Texana Ranch. Only asking because I have never been there and first run for me.

I am still debating about being in a motel in either Sweetwater or Bronte. Bronte looks to only have one, Country Inn. Looks like a dive. Or what I am leaning more towards is roughing it and pitching a tent. So if camping, some questions about the facilities there.

Are there bathrooms or only port-a-potties?
Any showers?
Is there an ice machine onsite to purchase ice?
Electrical outlets? Or should I assume that I need to use my truck to recharge batteries (phones, radio, gopro, etc)
Grills to cook food (can bring one)?
Sounds like there is going to be a food truck there the entire time?

I am thinking it will be more enjoyable camping because I can imagine how the evenings are going to be with the crowd and having to drive back and forth each day, might miss out. I don't drink too much (sorry) but if I did too much would rather not have to drive to a motel, duh.

Is the crowd fairly trustworthy as if you leave some of your stuff in your tent that you don't have to worry too much about theft? I am sure everyone looks out for everyone else, or at least I hope so as I know I will.

I know Noobie questions but like to be prepared as much as possible.

I left my spare tires and other stuff out and nobody messed with it. If they did I highly doubt anybody would find the bodys :greenchainsaw:

Forgot to ask. Is there a firing range or shooting going on in the spare time?
My co-pilot that is coming owns a gun store and he is asking.

If you're unsure then I would just camp at the ranch with the group of raptors and make some new friends everyone's very friendly and no one will mess you your stuff. I left stuff out over night and went to my Lake house every night across te road to sleep and it was all there the next morning. There is a shower in the men's room and woman's room but it's one shower and one bathroom for men and another for woman so taking a hot shower might now be possible haha so if you want a shower then I'd get a hotel room.

There is a range but it's in next to the course so it'll be closed till after the track is closed Sunday we used it last year for a few hours but there was only about 8 of us. Everyone else went home already

Answers below.
Are there bathrooms or only port-a-potties? - One men's bathroom, one women's, lots of port-a-potties.
Any showers? - One men's shower, one women's.
Is there an ice machine onsite to purchase ice? - Nope
Electrical outlets? Or should I assume that I need to use my truck to recharge batteries (phones, radio, gopro, etc) - There are some electrical outlets for RV sites (I think), but plan on being on your own for that sort of thing.
Grills to cook food (can bring one)? - I think anything that is self contained should be ok (grills). Open fires are dependent on drought conditions.
Sounds like there is going to be a food truck there the entire time? - That is usually the case.

Thinking of going to trr. Went of roading only once and it was mostly low speed. From other raptor runs things that were needed. Was a gps, jack , extra 5 gallons of gas and a way to mount spare in bed that's not mentioned for things needed for trr. Do I still need them? Will be my first time doing anything like this. Any answers will be greatly appreciated.
