So I am familiar with motocross helmets from highschool! But I have never worn or thought about wearing a helmet while driving. Any suggestions from learning experience? hates, opinions, suggestions, visibility, etc. I don't even know where to begin!

Make sure it's well ventilated if it's a closed face helmet or get an open face ad make sure it fits right and is comfortable cause you'll be wearing it for a while when you're on the course depending on how fast you take the course

Try it on in person to verify the fit. Wear it around the store for 10 or 15 minutes. If you buy one online, make sure you know how it fits. All that is required for TRR is that it is DOT rated. If you plan to do any road racing, drag racing, Texas Mile, etc., get one that is Snell 2010 or better (intended for use inside of a vehicle, Snell M2010 is for motocycles). I used a closed face HJC that has a removable inside liner for cleaning, which is nice.
