So, regarding the compromises with the front SVC kit (3.0+3.5, UCA, LCA, knuckles):
1. You lose turning radius I presume with the front suspension's 3.5 shock and tire clearance on the tire's rear side?
2. On-road firmness - can that be somewhat dialed out with external tube adjustments? I do this with my current rear 3.0 setup to help on-road softness, but dial them up for off-road control. I plan to do this with my new rear 3.5 bed-cage setup once installed. Now planning on what to maybe do with the front.
3. Louder - due to valves at all 4 corners clicking mostly?

Thanks for the feedback!

You'll only loose a bit of turning radius up front if you do the lca's & front bypasses, it's not bad and you get used to it quick.
The truck will ride firmer on the road, not harsh. I actually like it a lot. Those extra bypasses do an amazing job of controlling the front end.
The bit of extra shock noise is really hardly worth noting, you will get used to hearing the bypasses click/ping open.

To me these are all subtle changes, nothing alarming at all. This kit really does a great job of making you feel more connected and in tune with the trucks abilities, while still maintain good daily driving mannerisms.

food for thought, I'd be hard pressed to believe that you'd be able to overdrive the Mid-travel kits without scaring the shit out of yourself, or really destroying the truck.

staying with leaf springs in the rear means the rear is going to struggle to keep up with the front kit, even if you go with the "lowly ol' mid-travel".

if you are overdriving mid travel and leaf spung rear, then you really should have a cage. therefore in my head, unless I am willing to cage the truck, mid travel and spring over is as far as I will go, and if I need more, I need a different rig. ( i.e. full tube frame, linked, center mount, pre-runner. )

This is a good thread. I’m liking the looks of the mid travel kit as well because my truck won’t ever be a dedicated off road only rig. I’d like to hear more about what mods are needed to make the MT kit work....I.e. body work and so forth.
