I've ordered shocks from Fox, King and SAW and each time they've shown up with zero Nitrogen in them, yes they we're new but that doesn't meanthere wasn't something wrong with them! What gets me is how you can make the statement of "screwed up" when it was clear that they were emptied before hand
I understand what's going on here. It doesn't take a shock expert like yourself to deduce that possibly the nitrogen was let out and just needs to be refilled, big deal. That being said, I think a collapsed shock with 0 nitrogen pressure falls in the category of "screwed up" aka not ready to be installed on another Raptor without servicing.
In other words, it should either be remedied prior to the sale or disclosed to the buyer - which is the other part of my statement you failed to quote. It should also be noted that the seller had no idea until a few members including myself pointed it out.
I was not implying that the shock was in any way broken or unusable, or else I would have said "broken" or "unusable". I can't imagine my attempt to help got under your skin that much. You just saw a wide open door to use semantics against me to make yourself look "smart". You have accomplished the opposite, FYI.
Go eat some turkey, that's what I'm about to do.
