If anyone wants a handheld, im selling my Wouxun KG-UV6D from Trey, programmed with all raptor and necessary channels. Everything is like new. Comes with box, all ppwk, charger, cig adapter etc... Also bought the wouxun remote microphone i'm including as well... $175 shipped

That's a great deal for someone!! Great Radio. Already programmed for TRR, Buffalo Run, Snoball, etc...

setup worked really well clipped on to the moonroof headliner lip, easy reach. The following day I clipped my retracting office keycard string, from the the mirror and mic. It was a great setup, felt like a true trucker lol

Agreed. I also found that the sunglass holder (when open) was a good spot for the remote mic clip too.

VHF is 30-300 MHZ
UHF is 300MHZ - 3 GHZ

They are different frequence bandwiths. Some radios have both. But no, you cannot use a VHF + UHF and communicate.

so I could get one with both I'm looking at vertex's but they don't put the price on. so you just flip like a switch and use vhf or uhf? my buddy has radio's from a guy in sioux falls and they have uhf so if I help them I need uhf but to go on the run I need vhf. this is what I was looking at.

I can't help you there Wilson. I'm sure there are radios that can do both VHF and UHF I know there are VHF / CB combos but no idea on price.
