Man I / We both just started new jobs!! I so want to go and am 76.89%
sure I can talk mama in to it. It sounds fun. Why only 15 Trucks?

Move quick,

We went with 15 trucks after our experiences from the snoball. We will have a total of 18 trucks. Using normal safe following distances we become too spread out, and its too difficult to control the group with anymore than that.

15 is a manageable number, especially with fuel stops and such. Anything more than that an each stop becomes an hour to two hour endevour just to fuel up.

And plus, we cant take everyone.

Thanks Huck,

Another factor was also the experience. One thing Joe and I wish we would have been able to do at the Snoball was interact with more people from the other groups. There are tons of people we didn't even get to meet, let alone take a few moments to talk to.

With 18 trucks all leaving and arriving at the same time, you Will get to meet everyone. You'll even know them by voice over the radio, although we'll still insist everyone identify. :rockit:

I second wifey.

You will notice im from chicago, and we have many illinois raptors going. Out of all of them, i only met Donk on the snoball, so the other guys are new to me. Ace was in delta so we know him. There was only interaction in the groups, and even at that, i only really met the people in the truck or two in front of me. JJ and Ace, plus yukon from the emergency night run.

With kids coming to, we wanted to make sure everyone had a good time, got to interact, and got to know one another.

We have some cool stuff in the works that everyone will be excited about, especially the junior co-pilots.

I might say I got to meet everyone while handing out FRF stickers @ the snoball but you truely don't get to know someone till you actually sit down and have a chat.
This is another reason why I'm excited its only 15 /18 trucks. You'll all finally get to know me and you'll wish you hadn't.lol

I also have some extra FRF stickers and I'll bring those along and hand out to whom ever doesn't have any.

Welcome to the forum Lug. I live in your area too. I sent you a pm with my email.

My kids are very excited about this trip since they "got left behind" for the SnoBall. Good news is they want me to mod the truck more so they can help install things. Wonder how good they would be with suspension parts?

Speaking of ironman pm me instructions on the password for the supporting members lounge.

I met Yukon and wifey in the morning briefly, not enough to know their truck or anything just the voice on the radio. Come to find out there were 5 of them on that truck and it was blue. Followed him for a whole day till I knew what truck was his. And then instantly lost it in the white out.

Let me see if I can remember that stupid password. I seem to forget it every time which I shouldn't cause it's very memorable. lol

haha, yeah... That's because Yukon wouldn't let me buy the Orange Scab to separate our crew into two trucks. We'll probably have more people than seats at the TRR and don't be surprised if we're 3-4 people and a dog at the Buffalo Run. We just like to share these things with friends and family:waytogo:
