I'm really looking forward to this outing! With a little luck I'll have my Raptor a few weeks beforehand and I'll be using this trip to get to know her a little. Can't wait to meet a few fellow Raptor owners/characters and explore the Black Hills a little. It's been a while since I've been up there and a LONG time since I've been to Mount Rushmore. Also looking forward to the Crazy Horse Memorial (which I've never seen). And I can't wait to do some exploring on the back trails and grasslands!!! Now you guys just have to cheer on the one order ahead of me at my dealer because then I'm next!

I picked up a few things today. 2 5gal gas can's a tote to put them in.

Check out the snoball thread, there was a good photo on how to strap down the spare in the bed, along with the gas cans, dont really need a tote for them, might save you a few bucks.

I had mine in the bed with a tie down running through the handles to the intior tie down spots, never had any spilling or tippage.

ya that's why I was going to put them in a tote if it would spill at least it's in the tote. the one I picked up was $13. I'll check it out I read every page but don't remember that part probably because I wasn't going.
by the way if there is going to be a sd run every year it has to be at least a week later. besides farming that is when the dirt track racing starts. should I call up ksfy and see if they want to put it on the news or you just let them know and most times if it's a story will come out and do some interviews with a few shots probably will make the news lol this is sd ya know

I'll talk the news thing over with joe and Nicole. We picked that weekend because most have Memorial Day off from work.

ya I know that is why with it being also a long weekend. I think every one will think it's so cool they will want to do it every 5 years at least.
