I have a 2011 ROUSH SUPERCHARGED RAPTOR SVT that requires premium gas only. I’m heading to Canada (NW ONTARIO) where premium fuel isn’t available. Can I use an octane booster with regular gas and if so, please recommend a brand.
Thsnks- I’m new to RF and this is my first post.

How long is the trip for? I would fill a couple gas cans with 100 ocatane or higher and mix a few gallons in with each fillup. I would also not drive too hard.

Location
HOCKEYTOWN ® MI
Even though this thread is 2 months old, I suspect the OP was referring to the more "rural" areas of NW Ontario where some gas stations might not always have premium fuel readily available...

Thank god for 5 gallon fuel jugs though; great for those off-road/remote/baja or even
cross-province/country road trips...

Octane question

Thanks for replying on my thread. The trip will take me from International Falls to just about 30 miles south of Red Lake Ontario. I’ll probably need to fill up in Dryden, I don’t know if they have premium in that town or not but I wanted to be prepared if they don’t. Once I arrive at camp, I’ll be parked for the week and won’t use the truck. I potentially will need to fill up twice in Canada. I have a huge gas tank and like the idea of the extra 5 gallon cans but space is going to be tight with all the gear we have to bring for fishing for the week. I was hoping a good octane boost would help me out but I’m looking for input from anyone that knows more about fuel in superchargers than I do.

I believe in the area that I’m going to it’s just 87. It’s kinda remote.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll get a couple of 5 gallon cans. Unfortunately, space is at a premium with the gear we are carrying for the week of fishing. Any other suggestions on an additive if I can’t get premium and the gas cans aren enough?
