Rough Shifting

if your in a lot of stop and go traffic I would put it in manual than just put it back in drive when out .you don't have to stop for that shifth

I don't understand manual mode. Because I can be in drive but still select my gear without the computer overriding me. Is it supposed to override at some point while you're in drive?

You can't actually choose your gear you can just lockout higher gears.

if you have the stick in manual it will rev out and not shift up if you have it in drive it will shift at red line in manual it will not start in a hi gear and will down shift to protect your engine

Ah... The things you forget when you don't drive your truck for a few days.

How's the transmission been working since the service? I'm still thinking of taking mine in under TSB 11-10-15.

im gonna have to do this, ive noticed it a few times in slow stop n go traffic. and yes mine was made after the TSB says, mine was 9-21-11 build day, and i still got it too.
