I know whats wrong, your crazy. Your comparing it to a Passat? Really? Can't believe no one else got on him about this, you want to feel the road, its a racing truck, not a cadillac.
Crazy? Yes, that I am, but that's a whole another issue.
Read my post.
Yes, I'm comparing it to a Passat
WHEN encountering potholes, expansion slots, etc.
Passat has a fairly stiff suspension making it fun when you take it out for a 'spirited' ride,
but when you run over the above metioned stuff, you don't bounce in the seat like I do in the Raptor (the back seat feels even worse, as I was told).
I did own a '85 Fleetwood Brougham, so I know what that feels like. THAT is a boat ride.
I never expected the Raptor to be ultra plush road cruiser even though many owners make it sound that way. I spend 10 years in a Nissan Frontier CrewCab, long bed, SC, and that was the biggest gripe I had with it - the bouncy rough road/street ride.
The Raptor feels maybe 10% better.
P.S.
I'll let you slide this time for calling me crazy. You'll have to earn that privilege

Offroad yet? So smoooooth!!!
Are you still running the stock rims and tires? The ride is affected immediately when you go aftermarket.
The stock leafs are less than wonderful. You need National standard leafs to eliminate the "shudder" and "jitter" (wheel hop) you are experiencing. Night and day difference.
Tire pressure tip from a similar thread:
Draw a chalk line across your tires. Drive across a parking lot and adjust air pressure until the chalk is worn off evenly across the surface. Will get best wear and ride at this pressure.
Some have reported that the ride smoothes out some after a break-in period of a few thousand miles.
Otherwise could take it to the dealer and just let them check it out for peace of mind?
Yes, all is stock. Not planning to change the wheels or tires. I guess the leaf springs are worth looking into.
I'll also wait few K to see is it breaks in better.
I'll try the chalk test, though under-inflating the tires for the road will chew them up a lot faster.
