The glossy black looks kick ass.. Gonna look super on my shiny black Raptor.

The bumper came in yesterday so I had some time today to un box it and look it over. Great build quality.

I ordered the XL hyper spots thinking they would fit with little effort. WRONG!!! It doesn't fit on the tab that holds the regular Rigid lights. THIS IS NOT ROGUE'S FAULT. I did not specify what light I was putting in when I ordered the bumper.

With the swept angle of the bumper on the outsides the tab needs to allow another inch of clearance. Meaning towards the back of the truck. The XL light is just too boxy to get the angle to work and have the light shine forward. It will fit if you don't mind the light pointing down and out. pretty much flush with the mesh.

If I can figure out how to extend the tab and inch AND if there is clearance behing there to move the light back said inch. it will fit fine.

I would hate to do it but has anyone cut the mesh out to expose just the light and leave the rest?

Can't you bolt a piece of metal onto the existing tab that will back it away a little bit? Don't cut the mesh for a light. Sell the XL on here and get something that fits. You waited too long to get this bumper to half ass it now.

I decided to install the bumper today without the XL's in it. I found a cool place to mount them behind the upper grill. The 2 metal supports on each side has a perfect hole already to mount them. I had to notch a part of the back of the grill but it fit perfectly. I'll post pics of the full final install when the ice storm lets up tomorrow.

Even if I added an extra tab on the number behind the mesh. A large portion of the XL light would have been blocked.

Now I can order the regular Rigid spots and STILL put them in the bumper for even More light.

Oh. And the bumper instslled looks fantastic.. Easier to install than I thought. Pretty easy really. If you can turn a wrench and a screw driver, you can do it.
