To funny. I to read and looked at many pictures dreaming of the day I could pull the trigger. We finally closed on our house that was up for sale for 9 months. So I am treating myself to an upgrade for my toy. Can't wait. 3 weeks is going to seem like 3 years.

Congratulations... On both the house closing and the bumper

Got my D2 XL Hyper Spots this last week and decided to play with them in the driveway tonight. I didn't mount them, just plugged them in to see how bright they really were.

first off I'm already a LED fan. All my house interior lights are LED and all my outside floods are LED. So I am no stranger to what they can do.

HOLY SHIT these spots are brighter than ANY LED light I have seen to date. My neighbor across the streets back yard trees are quite far away and it lit them up like day time. The pattern was tight. I could point them at the tree over the top of the house without hitting the roof at all. From where I was standing the tree was about 150 yards. I would have needed a light 8 iron to make it.

I am impressed with what I have seen so far. I'll have to install them when the new bumper gets here to see how far they really do go.

Doesnt the throttle bumper position the D2's at an angle out to the side more ? Not so much straight forward.

Congrats this is close to the same setup I'm looking at. Would love to see pics.

They can be aimed straight ahead. It takes a little work with the Rigid brackets but I have mine straight ahead in line with each side of the truck.

With the XL spot lights there is only enough space to fit one on each side so I hope to get them to aim forward as well. Time will tell. Just waiting on pins and needles for that ship notification..

Do you have a picture showing the mounting brackets and their position?

Wait. That's the rigid bracket ? So my current rigid bracket would work with the throttle bumper ? Any chance I could get some front shots with the lights on ?

Are those screens removable by the average Joe ? Sorry for all the questions but I'm days away from pulling the trigger on one of these and you seem like a man with answers. Thanks so much for your help Mr. Chi and the rest of you guys.

sj, thanks for the pic. So, it is not the bracket that is Raptor specific to fit the cubes in the stock bumper but a re-positioning of the U bracket on each cube and mounting to the tab that Rogue welds onto the bumper.

The screens are held in place with rivets. I would think you could drill the rivets out and use some small bolts and nuts to make the screens removable. There quite a few rivets holding the screen in place.

Yes, the Throttle uses the Rigid Brackets but you need to make sure Rogue adds the tabs to accommodate the Rigid lights. Just call Rogue direct and talk with Christine -- she is very helpful and can walk you through the options. The screens are not removable.

Here are photos of my setup. I had them add the Rigids Tabs, Dual light bars and the winch plate. I also went with the rear bumper that included the flush mount lights.
