Are they 3.0s? I though they were using 2.5 kings.... also... why does each truck need to be tuned? Shouldn't all kits like this have optimized settings already?

Just like the Raptor is from the factory, things can always be improved upon. For the majority of people, the Raptor doesn't need improving upon. For the minority, it needs minor improvement. And for an even smaller percentage, especially those that spend this kind of money on a full overhaul of the suspension, they want it custom tuned for their driving style.

Ooohh ok. For some reason I just assumed that with all the new parts and the price tag that it would be a long travel kit lol

It's bolt on, stock width, and everything is double shear mounted.
This is literally as good as it gets in stock width/stock fenders.
It makes sense when you look at it combined with the canti.
There is no compromise, no fender liners to **** with, no loss of cargo space, etc.
Are there other (long travel) setups that will outperform it ? Sure, but you're going deeper down the rabbit hole in terms of fiberglass, loss of cargo space, permanent modifications to the truck...

I fully understand the upgrade and really like the kit.... my question was more on the "custom tune" For a setup like this.... what adjustments are made based on a customer. Do they ( any vendor) really change springs, valving, ect for driving style? Another way to ask my question is what would be different if I got the kit and installed my self vs having them do it (assuming I am competent to install). Does that make sense?

They change the rebound and compression typically. There are tubes on the shocks that you can adjust to be more open or closed. Typically they are adjusting those rather than replacing spring packs. I would say they are more "fine tuning" than fully tuning the shocks. That part was already done in the R&D of the kit, I'm sure.

The road manners are what we kept in mind, when making this kit. The integrated sway bar, stock track width with full OEM turning radius, corrected caster, scrub & bump steer. King Race series shocks are set up with a lot more features that make a huge difference in performance, besides the obvious over other series of shocks including the Pre Run series found on some "Long Travel" raptor kits. (Don't take this wrong, we will do a budget minded simple plate work raptor kit in the future using these shocks, but there are limits to performance when you shave down "$RaptorTax$" We changed the popit springs in the bypass tubes, designed our own shock body changed & over lapped bypass tubes in non traditional heights and overlap, also added different compression & rebound stacks. Changed spring manufacturer & weight in the coils as we'll as pre load. Weighed our LCA, UCA & spindles against 2 competitors kits (just our LCA's alone are 32-39LBS lighter and have more features on them! Our spindles weigh 29.5LBS ea.(stock is 23Lbs ea.) others are over 40lbs ea! That's over 60lbs more in un sprung WEIGHT!
Let me go off for a second here,,, CAD designing a suspension is the only way to go, however real life testing is the proof of a well CAD designed kit. We have the freedom to drive out our shop & right into the desert. Design it, test it, make it lighter. Design it test it, add more features, make it lighter. Until it's right we don't stop. Suspension is our roots here at Rogue and is what some live and breathe on and off the track. Lazer cut press break & weld are all done in house, as many prototypes as it takes to perfect the product one at a time. Instead of subbing out to a laser and break shop that want minimum quantities, or astronomical pricing for one off prototypes, which result in suspension company's "settling" for a good enough kit, light enough, strong enough, ok geometry ect, ect.. All these little details are what separate a decent kit, from a truly good performing kit.
This kit is made for the every day driver, & performs better in the dirt than any other Raptor kit long travel or not. On road I truly believe there is no kit that comes close to driving as nice. I wouldn't put that statement out there if I was going to have to cover my ass with a bunch of Bs answers & excuses as to why you were not happy after you drove a Raptor with this kit, because that simply wont be the case. I'm not usually one to brag, but short of 4 linking your raptor; we truly believe this is the best Raptor kit out there long travel or not. We would be willing to put our kit up against any at a time trials event.

When I grow up and become rich, I want this complete kit too, sounds freaking awesome and looks great too. I feel fortunate though to just have a raptor and able to go into serious debt just to do the mods I do have.

I do have Rogue's new UCA and just wish one day I can get more.....
