Not too much exciting stuff today...just making time across Kansas and trying to avoid the snow to the North!!
Photo of the truck in the small town of Brookfield...

Stopped in Marysville and took a quick photo of the truck in front of their old courthouse...pretty cool building.

We'll get some good photos down the road!!

This is a great truck for the trip!! I can already tell it's gonna be the perfect Alaska truck since it soaks up the big bumps so well - our roads up there really suck!! I've always been a GM truck guy, but this Raptor beats any truck on the road hands down!!

Thanks for the Vette comment...that's definitely my baby!! I love driving it, since it's such a raw driving experience (awesome power and torque, no power steering, super heavy clutch, and really, really loud sidepipes), it's almost like driving an old race car...always puts a huge smile on my face!

What takes you to Alaska, Kentucky is a great place? I grew up in Louisville auto industry and the great lake brought me to Michigan.

Kentucky is a great place and I really hope to move back in a few years!!
I moved up to Alaska a little over 11 years ago for work (gotta make a living)! I've really enjoyed it but the long cold winters are starting to wear on me!! I'm sure you know how that is, up in the Great Lakes area!!
We just stopped and saw the worlds largest ball if twine in Cawker City, KS (my girlfriend loves that kind of stuff)!!

Not much else in the little town!!

I thought the largest ball of twine was only in National Lampoon "Vacation" that's great, these things are what make our country interesting, enjoy your trip home.
