My truck is going in next week to get the Line-X XTRA. It has Kevlar in it and my dealer, Sanderson Ford, in Glendale, AZ, guarantees me that it will not fade in the Phoenix sun. So, there you go; commitment!

Well SERG09,

I went and had the damn thing done at Line-X today and I did the extra coating with a gloss finish that they claim will last as long as the paint on the truck without fading. I had them add a small amount of the gold metal flake in with it. It looks KICK ASS for a damn bedliner! Hahhahaaaa. My out the door cost was $650 but from what I looked at last week and what I got, OH MAN it looks GREAT! This dealer was $487 out the door for the regular Line-X in black. We will see how it holds up. I am off to take a few picks. Back later.......

Thanks for the pics BDRAG!! Is the finished product any more slippery than Rhino?? Bueller???? ... I was told things slide real easy .. but that was from a bedrug proponent.

It does seem harder than the rhino did. Its shiny and harder. I always tie shit down anyway since I tend to drive like shit! HAHhahaaaaa. I have not installed mine yet but still have some of the bed track tie downs from a company I had back in the 90's. Ahead of our time. It was called Truk Trak. Basically aircraft seat track type tie down rails. Next week I get mine installed after I get it plated Black.

I went with the regular Line-X. A big part of my decision was the nationwide warranty. If I ever move, I can take it to another dealer and get it fixed. The dealer I went to charged $400 and an extra $125 (I think) for the top coat. I have a bed cover, so I was not worried about fading, so I skipped the top coat. No issues so far.

I look at some others (Speedliner and another one), they were marginally cheaper but did not offer a nationwide warranty.
