I bought the tune and AFE from Mike a few months back and the install was very simple... Took me all of 40 minutes to remove the factory intake and install the AFE.

I do have to say that my fuel mileage went down, simply because I can't keep my foot off the floor. The sound alone makes the truck more badass, cant wait till I drop a new exhaust on this bitch.

As for warranty issues, (can only speak for myself) my dealer says I'm good to go. Said if anything happens to engine there'd be no cost to me unless they are able to prove that the upgrades caused the engine failure.

Just an update... Install was easy enough and after the first cruise... ITS WAS AWESOME! I didn't really know what to fully expect but definitely exceeded my expectations from both aspects of performance and sound

I am most likely gonna get myself in trouble pinnin' it every where... haha thanks!!

Now looking to do headers and an exhaust...

Anyone delete your resonators? with the CAI and tune?

Another big point is (for me) improved fuel mileage..

Averaging 15 mpg around town.. At this rate this kit will be paid for in a couple of months in fuel savings (10 gallons a week 40 gallons a month $120 a month savings!)

Greg,
Which preset tune are you using? I have it on 93 Octane (and I'm using 93 Octane) and my mpg has dropped at least 1 mpg.

87 performance... Since it seems the best match for my truck. As far as idling, shifting, etc. 91 performance seemed to cause rougher idle and slight hesitation off the line (bogging down)...
With my new wheels and tires I have dropped to a consistant 12 city. I will see how it does down and back to the Texas Run...

A follow up... After 2000+ miles (truck has 2800 on it now) follow up of 5star tuner and stage 2 afe with lid!

What more can I say? 5star nailed it with this package! Mixed city/highway has been very consistant 12mpg. That might seem horrible, considering my longest commute on the highway has be maybe 40 miles. All the rest has been stop on go driving. And of course, with the super aggressive sound, it is very hard to stay out of the throttle! The tune is flawless, and has exceeded my expectations in everyway. Probably would have kept 2011 if this kit would have been on it. Nah, probably not. It is that good, it fixes the slushbox transmission, the dead drive by wire throttle, and makes mustang owners jealous... What more can you ask for? The only complaint is the snap clips for the intake, just don't sit right... They just don't bite enough and pop off after bouncing/jumping/running over smart cars... I have tried bending them, straightening them, hell though about duct tape even. Even with this small complaint. If you are on the fence... Get it! It is just that good!
