Are they 1/8 wavelength antennas?

The antennae are not 1/8th wavelength. I like Frogslingers answer, sounds smart, so I will go with that.

I don't have data on the receiver sensitivity. I am better at answering easy questions like "Why does this antenna look so good on my truck?"

If you are looking to improve reception, look elsewhere. These aluminum antennae were made to fit properly, last a long time and look good doing it. Radio is dead.
