Reverse light wiring

I have yet to install my relay and fuse on my 2014. I use both the 4 pin and 7 pin. I'm pretty sure the fuse and realy are needed only if you need the "constant power" to your trailer via the large plug.

Just my experience...

I'm going to wire them directly to the reverse lights for the time being. I'd like to have them on a switch as well to use as a working light or for annoying tailgaters. I have the D2s on an A.D.D. bumper so I can aim wherever I like.

mine didnt work at all until i put them in. a month after i bought the truck i bought 3 quads for the wife and kids. i was stuck outside the yamaha dealership after they had already closed trying to figure out why i had no lights on my trailer.
