seems the auction must have put a random shock on the truck to make it movable..

pass the word - - - NEED ONE STRUT ASSEMBLY

if anyone has one laying around...

What are you doing for bolt torques? Do you have a book you're going by? Are you simply cranking down on everything?

The reason I ask is that you may not be aware, but that lower shock mount bolt is about 400 ft-lbs.

There is a thread that @pirate air started with all the torques in it. It's s sticky in one of these sections.

I have the shop manual. The rack mounting bolts were 325lbs.
As far as the lower Strut bolts, The right side I couldn't break loose, so I installed with the lower control arm, strut assembly, and spindle together as a unit (READ: pain in the ass!!)

When I get Left strut assembly I will tighten to the best of my ability and have it torqued down when I bring in for an alignment at the dealer.

On a side note: the one strut I do have is already set @ mid-perch. :)
