Replaced my reflectors with the oem black plastic ones. Looks much better than the reflectors. And on a silver truck the black looks perfect. No need to get crazy with colored tape.

My only complaint - it was only a 1/4 beer mod. Literally took about 2 minutes.

I did mine yesterday with Plastidip. No prep needed besides cleaning and drying them. It took about 4-5 quick coats using a hair dryer on medium in between to speed up drying. The nice thing about Plastidip is that its around $5 a can and I can peel it off at any time to return it to stock.

I did a search, but couldn't find any specifics...

I've read so much the past week after getting my Raptor, I can't remember where I read it... but...

I thought I read somewhere that folks have either had the orange reflectors on the fronts of their side mirrors painted black or there was an aftermarket smoked reflector lense available? Or they had the lenses "tinted" black/gray...

Is this something I can buy from Ford? Who does the "tinting"

Links? Pictures?

Thanks,
Mark

1. Pop them out with flat head
2. Clean them
3. Spray with VHT Night Shades
4. ???
5. Profit!?!?!

Wasn't a fan of the black reflectors after seeing them in person so did the turn signal mod, love them!
