Frontal Collision Warning. Not only will it come on, it will apply your brakes as well. Learned this first hand on my 1,100 mile trip home from picking my Raptor up at a dealer out of state. It can be turned off in your settings. It scared the crap out of me when it came on and auto-braked for me. I was in process of stopping when it came one, but it beat me to it.

I thought it didn't auto brake? According to the manual it just "primes" your brakes. What it says is that it will prepare the vehicle for braking so when you touch the brake, no matter what the pressure, it is 100% braking.

But ya, at first I only saw the red light when I started it up and I thought it was some gimmicky light to make you feel more powerful when it started up. Then a deer ran out in front of me and it blinked and beeped at me... and I felt less powerful as I almost crapped my pants.

If it didn't auto brake, it would seem that having a big light on your dash come on when you REALLY need to pay attention to what is in front of you, is not a good idea... unless you are in the collision repair business?

It does not always auto brake for you. However it also pre-charges your master cylinder so that when you manually apply the brakes it is stronger and more efficient.

Hey Tone, this is only avail on trucks with the tech package right? When I was looking at the features, I was under the impression that this feature was only available with the tech package and it is only active in cruise control mode (which it looks like is not the case)?
