I wouldn't buy them, but I hope you all get $200 worth of product. I hate to see anyone disappointed in a Raptor product. Good luck guys and post some pics!

Any chance the lighting could be moved to the OEM vents, or does the raised lettering or raised vent pose a problem?

I might just start a DIY project to figure out a way to get non-el tape LEDs installed. Check with me in 2014 - I'm slow with projects that involve electricity!

I'll definitely try them. With that said, if they look like shit, they will be off so damn quick it will be pathetic.

I'm hoping they will be ok. Based on the picture though, you couldn't.get that behind stock vents. There would be no way.

I'll do a good picture session tomorrow and see what we come up with.

Humm RaptorSCrew has had these for two days and he only posted out of the box pictures! If I had them they would be on the truck in minutes and pictures posted to FRF bragging wow look at my mod. Nothing from him or anyone else! My thought maybe a little embarrassed that they bought them and how ****** they are, just maybe?

You're mistaken my good friend. I just got them in the mail today. TSAWYER has had them for two days.

They will be on tonight or tomorrow depending on work.

First impression: they look better then the previous picture showed them to be.

Material is a bit darker but appears to be same type. Not grainy like the previous picture either. The raised end is closed off so it looks like it was normal. Anyone who isn't looking would never notice the difference at all. They will pass for OEM without a problem.

I want to see the light output! I assume I will run the wiring straight to one of the amber LED marker lights for power? This will power them on with those lights. Two wires: ground and power I assume. No inline fuses or anything.

Dislike is the fact that the "SVT" is white when the light is off. I'll check to see if that board can be pulled and I can slide a price of red taillight tape in there so it appears red when off. We'll see.

More pics to come tonight or tomorrow. No instructions.

Sorry

Sorry for the mistake! If I were you I would wire them to a uplifter switch. That way your fused and switching with a relay. You won't be tapping into any system lights if there is any issues. If you don't like them for any reason it would be so easy to back out not having tapped into your lights wiring.

Duh me! Didn't even think about that... I have two switches available. 1 is reserved for my Retro LS460s and that leaves one for these.

Thanx!

So no power supply box to hook up ? maybe they are led. The el tape has a little power regulator in line.

Don't wait on me for install pics. It could be a while before I have the free time to play with these.

I realize the electrical install isn't a big deal, but would it kill them to include basic installation instructions or suggestions?
