Hate to be simplistic or old school but I just bought 15ft of chain at Home Depot and 2 bolts/nuts that would allow adjustable connections. Think the total cost was under $20.I was wondering what kinetic recovery straps you guys have had good experience with?
You don’t ever ever ever want to use chain for or pulling in this type of situation. It’s great for constant tension lifting but remember, everything is a spring. When chains snap because someone gets a little too excited thinking they can get a running start to tug, or you get a little slack in it from towing and it yanks back, the chain snaps and flys back toward the anchor points.Hate to be simplistic or old school but I just bought 15ft of chain at Home Depot and 2 bolts/nuts that would allow adjustable connections. HD also had straps, (no trapeze though) hitches lights etc.
Worth a look next time you take your wife there to "shop for her"...
