I have Stainless Works Headers with the side exit (in front of passenger tire). I developed an exhaust leak on one of the cats so am going to take it all apart and put new bands and stuff on it.
Here is my issue: The drone is aweful. I don't even like driving it unless I am offroad.
Question: Has anyone else with the Stainless headers (and performance connect) that has modified the muffler or something to fix the drone?
As far as I see it I have multiple options:
- Just fix the leak, put it all back together and suck it up.
- Replace the cat back portion with the stainless works dual exhaust or BEHIND the pasanger tire exit and hope that is better.
- Find a new muffler that would be a direct (or close) replacement for the stainless works one.
Anyone that has had this "issue" or anyone with an opinion welcome to chime in..
