So, what finally happened to the engine?

Still sitting in the shop waiting on this one to blow up. Over 241k and she hasn't given up yet. I don't have the time to do a 'just because' engine swap. So it's just rainy day insurance at this point.

I know his was not installed yet, but I run a 7.3L set up in my 6.2L. It has so much stupid torque I had a hard time getting into boost. It is an easy build to do. Just takes some custom pistons. If anyone is interested in the same I can get you in touch with the gentleman who came up with the custom pistons. On aside note you will find out really quickly if our overdrive drum has issues. Also the 6R80 is not the hard to rebuild, must make sure you get the calipers and dial indicators needed.
