I bet I could pull those rear shocks off without setting off the alarm, no doubt. The Locktite wouldn't hold, I've wrenched it off with a ratchet, etc.

The spot weld is pretty extreme,but if you could get it JUST big enough that you needed an impact to rip it off, that would be cool too. Or get some "odd shaped" bolt heads with matching wrench.

Want to make a friendly wager on that (without a lift obviously lol)? I tested again today and I can barely send any vibration through my truck without getting the warning chirps (much less the full blown get-out-of-my-face alarm).

I know this much, a standard shock, no big deal. A shock on the raptor..... Not so easy. I decided to pull one of my rears off at my house for "fun" one day. This was on the ground with the weight on the suspension. That was the last time I decided to do it for fun. The charge in these shocks made getting the bolt to slide out a pita. Then once I did the shock got hung up on the lower shock mount when it extended which took more prying. I really doubt it could be done without setting off a motion sensor unless your cutting the mounts with a torch. Even then the truck would sag a bit once the shock was loose. The best part was getting my shock back on, I had no choice but to jack up the chassis and let the suspension hang. I could sit on the shock and it wouldn't compress lol. I think your thiefs planned on both shocks but said **** it after the first one.
