Yeah for sure...I think these trucks look best when the plastic fender flares and bumpers is painted...no matter what color.

I'm thinking about Plasti-Dipping the fenders matte black, still undecided.

EDIT: Anybody seen a tux black with plasti-dipped fender flares?

Travis, I asked Mike again on Fri 13th, and still nothing on the 2013 F150's as far as a parts or price list.

randy
Yeah I figured I'd let you know if I found out before you and let you handle things from there if you wanted to try. Either way, I'm anxious to know and possibly going to either get some on order or try for retro. I def wouldn't mind a set of the rock guards. Even though I plasti dipped my fender wells pretty good, lol.

Yep! Don't think twice and do it! Just think how many coats u wanna use. The more, the thicker, which stays "intact" a bit stronger In my opinion. I just finished my rims and they look killer!!
Pretty much every emblem, reflector, and rims are "Dripped-Out"! Haha, everything except my fenders/bumpers/skid plates,
For the skid im debating ordering the Red Plastidip and then spraying a clear coat over the Plastidip. That'll bring the red out in the front end! OR i was thinking of Plastidipping the skid (normally) flat black or going for a shine by spraying a gel coat over the black plasti-dipped skid. .....

You take any pictures of that? I'd definately like to see!

Yep! Might I add..I Sprayed the rims AND all emblems/reflectors while still installed on the truck too! Just getchya some tape and masking paper for overspray and some beer/music of course. I just stuffed some paper around for the overspray to not get on the rotors and calipers. FIRST DAY OF RIDING AROUND TOWN...." T, where u got the sweet rims?!?!". ......"Haha plastidipped"......"Where they located?!"...Need I say more?! Check them for yourselves. I'll even give you guys a before shot too.....

Haha, yep! Sorry i couldn't grab a drink the other night, i was too busy plastidippin', lol !....but, I much prefer the SVT not dipped as that was the way I over sprayed them to begin with......the rims just looked unfinished with the logo dipped. I'm thinking of doing my fenders tomorrow or next week. Might wait until the Red plastidip comes in to do my skid plate at the same intervals. I didn't want to have to spray the front/rear bumpers and grill too if i did the fenders but I think it'll look a lot more finished that way. Being my grill has a vinyl overlay "F O R D", I'll have to over spray the vinyl and outline the "F O R D" with a plastic razor blade, just....Get er' done! Its Starting to look great and soon after, I can start with getting my door pillars carbon fibered and some other goodies.

*edit- sorry to derail the thread a bit

wheel liners. Yes or no. Thoughts?

I am trying to decide if getting the wheel liners on my newly ordered Raptor is a good idea or not. I was thinking about eventually getting line-x in the bed and wheel wells.
Would it be better to just have the liners, just line-x, or line-x the liners?
What are you guys doing? Thoughts?
Keep in mind that I live in Phoenix so salt and rust is not an issue here.
