I'd say flood pattern. Let them see you from the most angles and blind them less.

I have followed people with ambers and white. Personally I would prefer ambers as it isn't as hard on tbe eyes wben following somebody. I agree a 30" is more than likely too much rear facing.
I run 2 Vertex ambers but may add some additional lights soon.

WOW thanks for all the replys.

i figured a3 0 inch was too big but its a cheap-o I got for free, and whipping up a mount is easy. I will definitely filter the light to amber now!

I will aim it down as to not blind people. Pics will come soon. Stay tuned!!

Unless your a volunteer fire fighter blue is a no-no

Offroad they can't say much about it. I'd still tread lightly with them though. Last thing you want is to get pulled over because you didn't know you're rear lights were on.

I'm pretty sure the blue lights is a law enforcement thing too . I bought my harley from a fbi agent he had blue lights in the blinkers and we had to remove them .

City and state ordinances will vary but most places you'll be fine running a solid blue OFFROAD. It's a tricky subject because of how the law can change from place to place. I wouldn't run them on a raptor run without thoroughly knowing the laws of where I'll be and that can become a pita. I'd rather stick with ambers and not worry about it.
