I think one of the speed restrictions with the Raptor was the drive shaft (along with tires).
Is there any speed restriction with this upgraded shaft?

Is the 4" diameter the same size as the OEM?

Thanks Dave!

So now that my truck is tuned for the autobahn what's the next piece to break after the driveshaft and tires?

stock shaft is 4 in at the ends and 4.5 in the middle- it tapers. One of the weak points is the pressed yoke at the trans end and the strength of the joints. You can tell the overall quality of a shaft by the amount of weights used to balance it- stock shafts have lots of weight. The slip yokes tend to wear out causing the clunking sound like mine did- this is caused by heavy usage and/or high horsepower. This new shaft can handle any speed the truck can handle.

Cool Dave. Your right, I have noticed a lot of weights tac welded to the drive shaft on mine. Sounds like a great upgrade if mine starts the clunk.

For the SC guys, they need to get in line.
