Well went to the dealer this morning to show them. Said they will look it up and let me know what they cost to replace and what they do actually. I asked about being a warranty claim. Nope, no can do, said I broke them when taking it off-road. Figured thats what they would say and was worth a shot. Now curious how much the quote will be.....

Keep us posted please. I'm pretty sure if I go look at my truck they will look the same lol. Need to know how much I'm in for.

So my dealer gave me a price for each one, $117.08 (or $234.16 plus tax for both, yeah quick on math there). They couldn't tell me what it was for and even the part guy came out to the truck and got on the ground to look at it. Some type of damper assembly but they had no idea what it does actually and if there is any harm if it were to fall off.

That price is full retail. Thanks to their quote, I can see the part number that would be ordered, it is AL3Z-5D008-A and is $80.79 at tascaparts.
I am tempted to order one and replace the worst side and see what its all about....

But how in the hell do these break anyways?
