Raptors built during COVID

I have thin paint coverage under the front headlight plastic surround. My truck is white so it's real obvious against the dark colored plastic. But like someone else said here, I chalk it up as being it's a F150 with a bunch of expensive parts tacked on, I'm not that surprised.

A paint defect like that is covered under 3/36, if it bothers you might as well have it taken care of.

That was my first thought as well. One idiot on YouTube uses the word "covid truck" and people run with the term like it's a real thing.

No issues in mine built 3/12/20. I’m very happy with the paint and fit and finish.

My Supercrew was built 6/26/20. Had to have 3 of the 4 doors adjusted to align with the side body panels. No issues with the Race Red paint.

That's funny that TFL called it a covid truck, then they realized it was pre covid. They have their heads so far up Rams keester that their eyes are brown. ALL TRX's will be Covid trucks.

I've said this before...

The raptor is NOT a $75k truck.

It is a $30k F150 with $45k worth of performance and features upgrades. Oh and that $30k base f150 isn't even $30k. They can be had for <$25k with end of model year rebates typically...LOL

I don't know about the luxury car comments as Ford has gone upscale with the interior materials as in compared to what use to come on their trucks.

My Gen 1 and Gen 2 paint has been perfect or good no real noticeable issues. My 2018 F150 Lariat had some trash in the paint on the passengers side rear and for some reason the drivers side rear door was miss stamped which made it make a weird sound when it opened and closed.

Like has been said if you want quality then buy a Toyota, Nissan or Honda
