From my experience dealing with Ford Customer Service, once you call them and speak to an agent, regardless of the issue, they will assign you a case number. Once you have a case number, you should be getting responses from Ford relatively quickly. Did they give you a case number?

Yea I have a case number and all I’m getting is the I’ll have it fixed and call you back day after day

Out of curiosity, did the dealer in PR claim it as damaged in the storms? This was a problem with inventory of boats and cars in Florida. Shady dealers are getting paid by insurance or from manufacturers and then selling the vehicles too.

No the storm was over a year previous, and yea it sucked! But the truck was brand new and still had the wrapping and plastic on it.

Did you order the truck or buy it from the lot? if the vin is in question what was the build date? agreed the storm was last year and might have still had the plastic but it doesn't mean the dealer couldn' have had it on the lot already.

From the lot but the build date based on the vin was March 2018, well after the storm

I know you know this, but you paid US dollars for a US truck in a US territory. I would pour through your purchase paperwork and find anything that says Ford doesn't have to honor the warranty under these conditions. Is their fine print somewhere to that effect? Not a good look for fomoco. Very few in PR other than a US soldier could afford a Raptor.

In PR they have a deal that military can buy one vehicle and not pay any type of sales or import taxes, so we got our truck for way less than we could have in the States. Due to this deal, it’s pretty enticing for service members to buy there.

Everyone I talked to actually in the warranty department at for Corp has said that the paperwork clearly states US Territories that includes places like PR, ****** Islands, Samoa

To be honest, most Soldiers (including myself) can't really "afford" a Raptor. lol. That doesn't stop the sham shields from rolling up in Hellcats though. The whole "show 'em your LES and they'll sell you the car" act has gotten many a Joe in the poor house for the first half of their career.

yep same exact thing I saw before and probably more now.

Our Guys show the dealer ship their pay and the dealership will structure a stupid deal for them. Have known a few before buying new expensive truck / car at the interest rate +10% and 9 or even 10 years finance.
