The 2014 performed better...

I previously owned a 2012 Grand Cherokee. While I do wish I could own both the Jeep and the Raptor, the Raptor is the better choice imo.
Raptor:
-Far better offroad capability
-Better resale value
-Gets about the same MPG as the hemi while weighing 1200 or so lbs more.
-Performance is far better. While the Jeep has good power with the hemi, it's very sluggish compared to the Raptor.
-More Cargo room
Jeep
-Easier to park
-Very smooth DD. It handles more like a car.
Best I could average in the Jeep was around 14-15 MPG. Which I was really disappointed with. Granted I did upsize my tires an inch over stock but to get 14 MPG with 32" tires when my last F150 got 18mpg with 33's and 12 with 37's and weighs at least 1000 lbs more. Jeep may have improved this with the new 8 speed transmission.
Best looking Cherokee I have ever seen. Props to you!
